Dear Mesa Public Schools families,
We have great news to share with you. Mesa Public Schools is pleased to announce that through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) of the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program, your school is one of 45 qualifying schools and 5 programs in our district that will soon be able to provide breakfast and lunch to all students at no charge.
Effective March 1, 2024, and throughout the 2024-25 school year, CEP will provide thousands of students in Mesa with nutritious and flavorful meals, while eliminating the need for Free and Reduced Meal applications. At CEP schools, every student will be eligible to receive one free breakfast and lunch meal. Additional meals and a la carte items will continue to be available at regular pricing.

Estimadas familias de las Escuelas Públicas de Mesa:
Tenemos una gran noticia que compartir con usted. Las Escuelas Públicas de Mesa se complacen en anunciar que a través de la Provisión de Elegibilidad Comunitaria (CEP) del Programa Nacional de Desayuno y Almuerzo Escolar, su escuela es una de las 45 escuelas calificadas y 5 programas en nuestro distrito que pronto podrán brindar desayuno y almuerzo a todos los estudiantes sin costo alguno.
A partir del 1 de marzo de 2024 y durante todo el año escolar 2024-25, CEP proporcionará a miles de estudiantes en Mesa comidas nutritivas y sabrosas, al mismo tiempo que eliminará la necesidad de solicitudes de comidas gratuitas o a precio reducido. En las escuelas CEP, cada estudiante será elegible para recibir un desayuno y un almuerzo gratis. Las comidas adicionales y los artículos a la carta seguirán estando disponibles a precios regulares.
